Czech Folklore

Author: Jan Labuť

Illustrator: Klára Popelková

Czech Folklore is a digital book that contains four significant Czech stories, such as Bivoj, Krakonoš, Knights of Blanik and Salt over Gold, which contain valuable themes such as courage, respect for nature, responsibility, and humility. A Lion accompanies the book as a symbol of the Czech nation, with illustrations for each story. Each story ends with a question that the reader can answer. Thanks to the question, the reader can reflect on the story with their own life.

The book supports self-reflection or intergenerational dialogue, and shares learning with traditional Czech stories through modern creation.
